I was in the front passenger seat of a car crash last night.

And before anyone asks, the driver was COMPLETELY sober.

The car hit mud on a wet road and the steering locked, then the brakes locked and when we hit gravel, there was nothing to grip on anyway whether the brakes worked or not.

The next thing that I remembered was that the car was stationary, wrapped around a gate post and i had a lot of difficulty breathing.

The ambulance came a short while after, and we sat inside it while we got things like blood pressure and pulse checked. Luckily none of us had any serious injuries, just the general ache of having your rib-cage crushed by a seat belt.

I have a friction burn from my left shoulder to the middle of my chest and my knees are scraped and bruised.

So the 4 of us cancelled our New Year's party, and went to bed at 1am after drinking about 2 beers each.
